What are the different chances of getting into veterinary school?

The profession of vets is more challenging than human doctors. Similarly, getting into veterinary school is harder than medical school. A report published by the U.S. News and World shows that the acceptance rate of applicants in veterinary programs was only 6.8 per cent. In contrast, the acceptance rate for medical school applicants was 9 per cent in 2010. Due to the smaller number of seats, aspiring vets face stiff competition in securing admission in vet schools. Thus, the Caribbean presents a golden opportunity for aspiring vets. Students who are genuinely passionate about working with animals can get into Caribbean vet school even with a lower GPA.
