Microsoft will stop selling Windows 10 licenses this January

Microsoft has been offering its users to switch to Windows 11, the latest version of its operating system, for a long time. Currently, this version coexists with Windows 10, which continues to be the system in which most computers are installed. However, the company is gradually putting out its flame so that people go permanently to Windows 11. One of its next actions will be to stop offering Windows 10 licenses on its official website.

As we can see on the Windows 10 license purchase page on the Microsoft website, the company warns that at the end of this month, it will stop selling Windows 10 keys, which means that you can only buy Windows licenses 11 from the official Microsoft website.

Windows 10 licenses will no longer be available, although nothing prevents you from purchasing them from third-party websites.
You can see for yourself if you visit the Microsoft website, where the company has included a warning message at the bottom of the page:

January 31, 2023, will be the last day this download of Windows 10 is sold. Windows 10 will continue to be supported until October 14, 2025, with security updates that help protect your PC against viruses, spyware, and other malware “.

In addition to the warning, the company displays a link to the Windows 11 information page to let people know everything about its new operating system. It also mentions the day Microsoft will stop supporting Windows 10, so users can continue receiving support until October 14, 2025.

Even if Microsoft stops selling Windows 10 licenses on its official page, you can continue to buy them through third-party pages. Also, keep in mind that you can also access Windows 10 completely free of charge, although the system will ask you to activate it by means of a watermark after a while, and you will not be able to customize it to your liking.
